Mission Chamber Golf Tournament Proceeds Help Students at Back-to-School Bash
MISSION, Texas - The impact of the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce’s (GMCC) annual golf tournament went beyond the golf course and helped more than 2,000 community members prepare for the upcoming school year.
Through the proceeds raised from the 2026 Mission Citrus Golf Classic, the GMCC was able to support Mission CISD at their 2026 Back-to-School Bash, by providing students with the essential school supplies needed ahead of the new year.
“We sincerely appreciate the Mission Chamber of Commerce’s continued investment in our students and community,” said Dimitra Trejo, Mission CISD Director of Public Relations and Marketing. “Your partnership makes a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for your commitment to supporting education in Mission.”
The GMCC believes in the importance of investing in the community and through its continued partnership with Mission CISD, will remain committed to supporting students for future generations to come.
