Mission Chamber of Commerce Makes Donation to Mission CISD

MISSION, TX – The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) hosted its 2025 Mission Citrus Golf Classic on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Shary Municipal Golf Course (2201 N. Mayberry St., Mission, TX). This highly anticipated event was powered by GMCC and proudly sponsored by Cano and Sons Trucking and Texas Valley Clinical Research.

The tournament featured an 18-hole, 3-man team scramble-style with the Peoria System Golf Game. A portion of the proceeds benefits Mission CISD students, helping provide essential school supplies and necessities for the upcoming academic year. The participating golfers and sponsors directly contributed to ensuring that local students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

“We are deeply grateful to Cano and Sons Trucking and Texas Valley Clinical Research for their unwavering support,” said Brenda Enriquez, GMCC President & CEO. “Their commitment to enhancing the well-being of our community and empowering local students is inspiring. With their generous contributions, this tournament continued to foster educational opportunities for the youth of Mission CISD, helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow.”

The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce extends its deepest gratitude to our incredible sponsors whose generosity made this event possible. Special thanks to all of our sponsors:
