First Annual Citrus Sip-Off: A People’s Choice Event Brings Community and Creativity Together

MISSION, TX - The Citrus Sip-Off: A People’s Choice Competition hosted by the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the City of Mission, Texas Citrus Fiesta, and Discover Mission was a celebration of community, creativity, and fun competition.

Guests had the opportunity to sample a variety of unique, citrus-inspired cocktails, each crafted by a local mixologist exclusively for this one-night event, and cast their votes for their favorites. A special thanks to Lone Star Citrus Growers for their generous donation of fresh citrus. Attendees also explored local food vendors and participated in a silent auction.

The night ended with the announcement of the winning mixologists, determined by the people’s choice votes. Ancestral Craft Spirits Distillery took home first place, followed by Restaurant Moon Mixology in second and Ranch House Burgers taking home third place and “Best Booth Presentation.”  This competition is to highlight the amazing talent and creativity that Mission has to offer.

The Citrus Sip-Off delivered an unforgettable night of cocktails, competition, and community while highlighting local talent, supporting small businesses, and showcasing the vibrant spirit that makes Mission shine.
