Chamber to Celebrate 80 years of Business Success
MISSION, TX - The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) will host its 2026 Annual Member Awards Banquet, “An 80’s Night Under the Palms,” on Thursday, October 8, at the Mission Event Center. We are pleased to announce that Bert Ogden Chevrolet in Mission has secured the title sponsorship for this event. The evening will celebrate the Chamber’s 80 years of serving the Mission business community and recognize this year’s outstanding award recipients.
Selected from a highly competitive field of nominees, these exceptional individuals and businesses are being recognized for their outstanding contributions and dedication.
The 2026 recipients are:
- Business of the Year: Ocean Gate Hospitality — Recognized for its lasting economic contributions and community outreach.
- Business Leader of the Year: Marsha Terry, Terry Physical Therapy — Recognized for her dedication, integrity, and leadership.
- Non-Profit of the Year: Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo & Starr Counties — Recognized for its commitment to making a difference in the community.
- Chamber Ambassador of the Year: Nancy Chapa, Serenity Fields — Recognized for her outstanding support and dedication to the Chamber.
