Shop Local Holiday Market Returns to Leo Peña Placita Park
Community donations, sponsorships and local vendors are welcomed for the free community event
MISSION, TEXAS — The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), in partnership with Discover Mission, the City of Mission and the City of Mission Parks and Recreation Department, will host its annual Shop Local Holiday Market on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Leo Peña Placita Park.
The free community event will take place from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., offering an afternoon of shopping among local vendors, food, live music, photos with Santa, giveaways and more.
Vendor booth spaces are available at no cost to GMCC members. Each booth measures 10 feet by 10 feet, and all vendors, including GMCC members, must provide their own tables and chairs. Food trucks will have separate setup requirements.
The City of Mission Parks and Recreation Department will oversee vendor registrations, applications, fees and related information. For vendor inquiries, contact Kassandra Martinez at kmartinez@missiontexas.us or call the department at (956) 580-8760.
The GMCC invites members, investors, local businesses, organizations and community members to support the event through donations and sponsorships. Contributions such as bicycles, gift cards, toys and other items for event giveaways would be greatly appreciated and help make the holiday celebration extra special for local families.
For information about donations or sponsorship opportunities, contact Pete Charles with the City of Mission Parks and Recreation Department at pcharles@missiontexas.us or call (956) 580-8760. The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce can also be reached at (956) 585-2727.
