Buenas Tardes Luncheon: State of Education 2024

The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce was pleased to invite guests to their recent Buenas Tardes Luncheon: State of Education. This important event brought together esteemed local leaders who delved into the critical topic of strengthening the community through enhanced education and financial literacy. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and gain valuable insights into how they can collectively work towards improving educational outcomes and promoting financial literacy for the betterment of the community. The luncheon was a significant occasion for fostering collaboration and highlighting the importance of education in driving community development.

Gonzalez, Executive Director of Teach for America Rio Grande Valley; Dr. Cris Valdez, Interim Superintendent of Mission CISD; and Dr. Daniel P. King, Executive Director of the Region One Education Service Center. The event was moderated by Maria Leonard, Director of Social Impact and Sustainability at UTRGV Robert C.
